Lake Okeechobee

Hey, fellow adventurers! π
I’m all about exploring new horizons, immersing myself in the beauty of each moment, and capturing those fleeting scenes through my lens. You know, the kind of enchantment that unfolds during the golden hours near sunrise and sunset.
Living without a boat on Florida’s east coast means I often miss out on those classic beachside scenes and ocean sunsets. It’s like the sun’s playing hide-and-seek, teasing from the wrong side of the earth. But fret not!
There’s this hidden oasis called Lake Okeechobee, just a breezy 30-minute drive west from here. Imagine thisβa shimmering expanse about 30 miles long and half as wide, offering the perfect canvas for capturing breathtaking sunset moments.

The drive through the countryside is serene and picturesque. Though, it’s wise not to linger too long in one spot by the shore. Who knows? You might accidentally intrude on an alligator’s dinner plans! π
Stay curious and keep adventuring! ππΈ
