Absolutely incredible footage! Miraculously, no lives were lost, neither in the air nor on the ground!

Did you catch that moment when the Cessna’s wing gracefully embraced the skydiver? It was like a scene from a movie—a perfect storm with pilots caught up in their own worlds, each plane slipping into the other’s blind spot.

Reflecting on my days as a pilot, I took charge of a few aerial photography sessions of other aircraft. Honestly, not a fan at all.

• The workload and risks soared to new heights.
• Distractions aplenty for both pilots.
• Minimal to no real training in formation flying.
